The Dr. Grip Ace Shaker combines four premium features to create a mechanical pencil that is amazingly comfortable and convenient to use.
Ergonomic Design:
Like all Dr. Grip pens and pencils, this pencil is well balanced and features an ergonomic grip section made of firm, pleasantly grippy rubber.
Mogulair Tip Mechanism:
Like the Mogulair, this pencil features an “active suspension” mechanism. This mechanism reduces the jolt from the initial contact of putting the tip on the page by 50% compared to other mechanical pencils. It also allows the lead to retract slightly into the tip to avoid breaking when too much pressure is put on it.
Shaker Mechanism:
Lead can be extended by simply shaking the pencil up and down. There is no need to let go and re-grip your pencil every time you need to extend lead. The conventional method of clicking the top push button works too.
Note: To access the refillable eraser, twist the top push button counterclockwise. To refill the lead, pull the top push button out to expose the lead storage tube.
